The award was presented by Franklin Tomorrow at their annual volunteer awards program tonight. Congratulations, Ed!

Williamson County Mayor, Rogers Anderson has announced the closing of all Williamson County Government Offices due to predicted continued inclement weather conditions for Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Additionally, the Register of Deeds, County Clerk, Trustee, Property Assessor, Juvenile Court Clerk, Circuit Court Clerk and Clerk and Master have announced closing. Likewise, there will be no Juvenile Court, General Sessions Court or Circuit Court and the Election Commission Office

Our firm and our sister business, Heritage Title Franklin, were honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Franklin Grove property today. At the ceremony it was announced that Hartzog and Silva senior partner Ed Silva will be recognized with the future street connecting the Franklin Grove property to Lewisburg Pike.

The street shall be known as “Ed Silva Way” to honor Ed’s legacy of contribution to the Heritage Foundation, from serving as its first president, to his service on the board, and his longtime dedication to historic preservation in Franklin, Tennessee.

Anyone who knows Ed knows that he always wants to get his way, and now he finally can!  We are so proud of you, Ed for this well-deserved honor!

We regret to inform you of the passing of Sylvia Plaxico Hartzog, the widow of our late founding member, Mark Hartzog, and shareholder of our sister company, Heritage Title & Escrow Company, Inc. Sylvia was beloved by all of us here, and she will be greatly missed.

Davidson County Chancellor Pat Moskal was the keynote speaker. She encouraged the new admittees to be present, mindful and prepared as they embark on their new careers.

Our attorney, Amanda Bradley, volunteers with local nonprofit the NOOK, which stands for Needs of Our Kids. The NOOK has a volunteer on call each school day who acts as a liaison between schools in FSSD and Williamson County. School counselors or nurses contact the NOOK to request items of clothing, food, or personal care items for students in need, and NOOK volunteers like Amanda purchase and deliver items to the schools within hours of the request. It’s an amazing partnership and way to be able to meet the tangible needs of our students.
