Today, please come out and help James Valdez celebrate his retirement, he was a substantial member of our union for over 26 years, and has over 30 years serving the citizens of Franklin with the Franklin Fire Department. Ceremony to start at 2:30pm. Congratulations Brother Valdez

Hands on physical training is our focus with the opportunity of this house. Extremely beneficial to us and we are taking advantage of it.

We want to wish Jill luck in retirement, we will miss having her around.

Congratulations to FFD Community Fire Prevention Specialist Jill Glanz who is retiring today after nearly 27 years in the fire service! Jill served with FFD for close to 7 years, with her primary role as our lead fire inspector. Jill was consistently recognized in the community as an advocate for fire safety education and worked with countless local businesses to maintain and implement fire protection systems to ensure the safety of employees and visitors to those establishments. We wish Jill a happy and healthy retirement as she moves on to her next adventure!

Today we were able to celebrate two promotions, Lieutenant Shawn Ganser promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief. Justin Pallen is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Congratulations to them both and to Franklin Fire Department

Today's Black Shift crews are out practicing search and rescue techniques at a training house. Getting out and enjoying some training before the storms come.
