Something you need to do ASAP ‼️

One thing you definitely do not want during cold weather is a cracked or chipped windshield.

Cold weather can turn your chip into a crack and if you have a crack, cold weather can make it spread.

If you don’t tend to them as soon as possible, you’ll end up needing to get your entire windshield replaced.

So if you’ve got a chip or crack in your windshield, schedule an appointment before it’s too late!

We love a rotor change!

As opposed to only changing your brake pads, we always recommend changing rotors and brake pads together.

As brake pads wear down, so do the rotors.

If you DON'T change the rotors you risk:

•Warping

•Increased brake time

•Reduced brake power

No one wants bald tires!

Driving on bald or worn tires is dangerous. Not only does it put you and those in your vehicle at risk, it also puts those around you at risk.

So stay on top of when they need changed!

To do that, do the penny test.

Take a penny and place it upside down on it's edge in the groove of your tire tread.

If the tread covers most of Lincoln's head, you're good!

If the tread doesn't even reach his hair, or BARELY reaches it, you'll need a new set

When you have even tread on your tires, you’ll have better traction on the road through season changes!

It’s recommended to rotate your tires every 5,000 miles.

Taking care of your car can sound complicated, so here’s a short list to keep in mind.

DO:

✅ Keep fuel above ¼ tank - this prevents premature wear on the pump.

✅ Change your oil per manufacturer guidelines.

✅ Use your parking brake - this prevents wear on the transmission.

DON’T

❌ Ignore new or odd noises or dash lights - get it looked at as soon as possible!

❌ When actively driving, don’t rest your foot on the brakes and/or the clutch if driving a manual

❌ Wait til the last second to brake when stopping, this can cause warping and excessive wear
