We were informed by some families that a couple outdoor camps planned for this week are being postponed or canceled due to the heat 😅

We decided to add some “pop-up” afternoon opportunities in the studio for anyone wanting to join our “Passion for Fashion” week . Register online for 1-5 days. Our afternoon pop-up workshop is from 12:30-3. Each day will be different projects and activities.

It’s going to be an amazing week! We will not only be making traditional fashion related sketches, drawings, & paintings, but we will be making an assortment of wearable art.

Some project ideas include painted summer beach hats, tie-dye socks, bock printed canvas totes, Wearable T-shirt art, purse sculptures, jewelry designs and more!

Will keep the day fun by adding in some teambuilding games and collaborative art experiences/creations.

This book has been my absolute favorite go-to lately!

Not only is it beautiful itself just to look at, I love the way it makes me feel.

Not only does it have amazing simple instruction, it is a mindful activity that brings peace & grounding through art & creating for all skill levels.

I absolutely love the life messages sprinkled into the instruction. Last night I read the “drawing floral arranging” section and felt compelled to share the note.

Swing in the studio this evening through this Sunday and take 10% off all DIY projects you make for or with Dad.

Any ceramic glaze items made by 2pm Saturday will be ready for pick up Sunday.

Starting this week Art & Soul’s DIY Studio will begin our summer hours!

Our summer hours will best accommodate our summer art workshops while also giving you some extra time in the studio.

🌞 We will be opening during the week at 12 PM .

🌞 We’ve added extra daytime hours on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

🌞 We have extended being open until 8 PM on weekdays.

🌞 Weekend hours will remain the same.

🌞 DIY studio side will remain closed on Mondays.

💦 🏝️ Get your summer camps & pool days in and then wind down in the evening with some fun creative art time.

Remember, you were always welcome to bring a snack/beverages with you. Even order/bring a pizza to the studio and have an easy summer dinner while you create.

If you’ve ever wondered what we “do” in the studio during “school year art groups”, it’s the perfect time to come in & check out the 2024 totally kid curated Art Show.

So much art media & techniques, so many different ages, and endless creativity & positive vibes.

The display is open to the public today through Thursday evening. We are open till 7 PM tonight,
Wednesday 3 PM to 7 PM, and Thursday 11 AM to 7 PM.

Come & check out how talented these group of artists are. We promise you’ll leave smiling. 😊

✨ Summer Week Workshop Highlights ✨

This week is for the artist that is into being creative with all things fashion related. We will be designing clothes, brand logo ”re-dos”, a basic beginner sewing project and perfume/cologne bottle design to name a few. Some fun projects will include exploring with fabric dying using natural elements and printing designs with wax and sandpaper.

We will use a variety of art media and techniques, like drawing, painting, collage, and textile art media.

Artists will leave with not only traditional projects but also fun fashion items designed to show off their designs.

Last call for our amazing upcoming adult watercolor workshop.

Join us this Saturday morning, May 18, from 9:30 to 10:30 for a beginner level intro to watercolor workshop.

Guests will focus on basic beginner techniques and apply technique to paint different spring/summer flowers.
