A research and writing workshop but, like, low-key, you know? Swing by the research party to work with other students in a space where you can get help when you need it. Librarians and writing tutors will be on hand to answer questions and provide help. Plus--pizza!

has kicked off! Our first session presenters, Dr. Robiadek (Political Science) and Dr. Oladeinde (Public Health) shared fascinating studies from the 1600s to present day. A great start to the day!

This Thursday, please attend Hood’s 1st Annual Staff and Faculty Innovation and Research Exhibition (SAFIRE)! By attending brief presentations and viewing posters throughout the day, you’ll learn about the diverse research interests and innovative strategies of some of our amazing faculty and staff! With all the papers, Hood sickness going around, and just feeling burnt out, we recommend taking some time this weekend for some rest and relaxation. Maybe you’ll take a nice nap, or talk a walk downtown, or even open a new book. Whatever it is, take some time for you. You deserve it. The Hood College library is hosting its first annual Research Party TODAY where you can drop in anytime between 3-5pm, grab a slice of pizza, and get some help on those papers you may need to write before fall break.
Research can be FUN - Curious? Stop by the Writing Center and visit the Research Librarians to see what I mean!

To access the library this Saturday, Sunday, Labor Day, and during overnight hours starting Sep 6, use your Hood ID to swipe yourself in to the building. The swipe station is located next to the Handicap push button on the right side.
