Ballenger Beer & Spirits

So, the state of Maryland will no longer allow bourbon raffles, so here is what will now be happening with my rare bourbon bottles. If you want to be offered these bottles, you will need to be a regular customer of Ballenger Beer & Spirits. Just come to the store and ask to join our loyal customer list in our computer. For joining, you will receive 5% off of any beer or liquor and 15% off of any wine everyday. All you have to do is tell any employee you are a member when checking out. It's just that easy. It will also allow me to see if you are supporting us all year. I want the rare bottles to go to those that deserve them. Not people that never come to our store other than 1 time to be able and grab a rare bottle. I am trying to make this as fair as possible.

Traveller whiskey, is a collaboration between country singer, Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery to create this smooth and flavorful whiskey in a gorgeous bottle depicting the map of Kentucky thru the glass And at $39.99, it is the perfect price to anyone to try. Get it before it's gone, as this is an allocated product, and once it's gone, I don't know when we will see it again.

Hello to all of Ballenger Beer & Spirits peeps. I need your help. If there is one thing that I hate, it is a thief. We have on camera this person who walked in the door and stole 2 bottles of tequila from us. We caught her stealing the bottle of Don Julio and made her return it, but what we didn't know is that she already stolen a bottle of Casamigos 1.75 as well. I will give the person who can tell me her name a $100 gift card to our store. My husband and I work 5 jobs to open this store to make our dream happen for all of our amazing customers and then one worthless thief feels its ok to take money from my pocket for themselves. If they need money, please ask. I appreciate all your help in the matter.

Coco has hidden another bottle to join Old Fitzgerald. He has a very rare thought that you will never find his hiding spot. This will be the last bottle of the day, but he will be popping up this week with a few remaining bottles to hide. I hope everyone is enjoying the hunt and can pick up a bottle or two for their collection.

Coco tip of the day....the best drinks are served with a splash of ginger. Old Fitgerald is still up for grabs and is a great bottle to add to your collection and a bottle that you see only once a year. Even if it is at $299. Hope his hint helps

Coco is on the move continuing his New Year's Day antics hiding those hard to get bottles. He was sitting with his spicy toffee flavored drink, on his chair that has a touch of wood when it came to him. Old man Fitzgerald said it "Cork it, and be done". Our adjusted prices make it a great bottle for your collection and a once a year find.

Coco was bested and his bottle was found by a beautiful scavenger named Judith. After some store searching, she located his hiding spot. Congratulations to Judith, and a big thank you to all the scavengers that came out to look. Keep watching, as the next bottle will go out soon. Each clue will get tougher, but all the clues will be in the post.

Coco the ELF has finally recovered from his hangover from to much celebrating on New Year's Eve in France. He was very blue about having to leave, but hiding his bottle has made him very giggly, knowing you will struggle to find it. Keep watching today for his movements, as he will be very busy this New Year Day!

The Weller 12 year has been found, right at the buzzer. We had 15 minutes until closing for Christmas night, and our scavenger snuck in and found Coco's hiding spot. Keep watching, he has plenty of bottles to hide. New Years Eve will be a busy day for Coco. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Coco the ELF has returned from the movies where the STARS were only 12 years apart in age, and he and Santa and have hidden the bottle. He was inspired by the movie and has some advice for you. "Chose wisely, but beware, if you drink from the Well in the wrong vessel, I will be hard to find". Good luck scavengers.......and GO!

Congratulations to Ryan Wafield who found the Pappy 12 year hidden in our champagne section. Colonel Taylor is still hidden and another bottle will join him soon.

Merry Christmas bourbon followers. Coco has been traveling the world with Santa in his sleigh gathering bottles for you to find. He just came from Champagne France after tasting some sparkling wines and ran into his 12yr old relatives that knows his Pappy, and they headed straight back and hid a bottle amongst the beverage in our store. He is giggling because no one has found the 1st bottle he hid, which makes him so happy. Good luck bourbon scavengers.

In 1942, Coco the ELF traveled with DJ to a far away land called Mexico, to search for a rare bottle of Colonel Taylor to bring back to our store and hide. He just arrived with Santa in his sleigh, and hide the bottle for some lucky Christmas customer to find. Come see us to pick and ornament from our tree or a gift from under and grab some goodies too, and maybe walk away with a great bottle of bourbon. He will be hiding bottles all day. Good luck

I want to thank everyone who donated an unwrapped toy to help with the Down Rider Fund toy drive. Because of you, Down Rider Fund was able to help 14 families this year. They also helped Randy and I find a family for us to help over the holidays too. The pictures say it all. Before & after. My heart is full of joy knowing that a family may have the best Christmas they have ever had. What better Christmas present for us knowing that three people will have a very Merry Christmas. Ballenger Beer & Spirits received one bottle of Pappy 23 year. I am putting it up for silent bids at our store from today, Sunday, December 17th until Saturday, December 23rd. Stop by the store and write down your name, phone number and what you wish to bid and drop it in our sealed box to try and win this bottle. I will call the highest bidder on Christmas Eve.
