Thanks to all the judges , seminar instructors, vendors and especially all of you for helping make this one of the biggest shows here in Maryland for over 2 decades. The fish and reptile judge!!
I’m Chad See and I started doing taxidermy nearly 19 years ago. After college I went to taxidermy school and I haven’t looked back since. At first I did all phases of taxidermy but fish were always my passion. Today, fish are what I’m known for and cold water species are still my favorite. In my years of competing I’ve been blessed to win a couple breakthrough awards, several WASCOs, numerous people and taxidermist choice awards and many state champions in several states. My favorite competing moment has been winning a national championship. I’m most well known for the leaping brown trout I competed with in 2015. While I have been blessed to succeed in this field, I never want to fail to give the glory to God for the blessings he’s given to me. Any talent or skills that I have come from Him and for that I’m grateful. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping others in the world of fish taxidermy.

Kent Reedy - Bird Judge

Kent is a self-taught Taxidermist with 46 years of experience. During his competition career he’s been awarded numerous State Championships and Best of Shows, IGT Best Bird and National Champion. In 1987 he entered the World show winning Best in World Bird and the prestigious Akeley for Best of Show and in 1995 he was awarded the Akeley for Masters of Masters. At the 2013 World Show he received the Carl Akeley Most Artistic, Carl Akeley Collective Artist and Competitors Choice for Best of Show rendering him the first World Show Winner to capture all three Award. To date he is humbled to be the only Taxidermist awarded the Carl Akeley Best of Show, Carl Akeley Master of Masters, Carl Akeley Collective Artist, and Carl Akeley Most Artistic Awards at the World Show.
Kent considers it an Honor to have judged the World Show, European Taxidermy Show, NTA, IGT, and Many State shows. Currently most of Kent time is being focused on teaching bird Taxidermy and new techniques from Beginner to Master Levels as well as developing reproduction manikin parts.
