The Magpie kit refresh just keeps getting better and better! We’re thrilled to unveil Batch No. 3 of our revamped classics and a brand new kit that is giving some serious springtime vibes.

For this round we chose the Springfling Tee by for our new kit. We know sometimes warmer weather can cause a creative block for us fiber folk and so we are here to make sure you are feeling inspired by all the warm weather makes! This pattern features a playful colorwork design that creates the illusion of delicate petals cascading down the yoke. We think it’s the perfect project for spring and summer knitting!

We’ve chosen our luxurious Solo Fi*****ng base for this kit. This single-ply yarn is perfect for creating lightweight tees with beautiful drape and structure. Plus, it allows the colors to truly shine!

This stunning sweater boasts a mesmerizing colorwork yoke that fades into a captivating floral design, like a field of windflowers dancing in the spring breeze. The intricate stranded colorwork is pure magic, whispering tales of wildflower meadows as you knit.

Made with our luxuriously soft Swanky Sock base, it’s light and airy, perfect for those in-between seasons. Zanete used Stagbunny as the main color, which created the perfect canvas for her floral masterpiece. Then, she threw in some moody blues using Voices Carry and Siren’s Song, to create a lovely gradient that fades down the yoke.

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our OG Magpie, Kam, Dami’s beloved Great Pyrenees. At the wise old age of 13, she passed peacefully basking in the sun. ☀️
Kam wasn’t just a pet, she was a cherished member of the Magpie family and she was a familiar furry face to many of you early Magpie Makers. We’ll miss her endless supply of fur tumbleweeds, her love for the finer things (we’ve never met a dog with bougier taste buds), and that sassy attitude that kept us all on our toes.
We’re all incredibly sad, but incredibly grateful for the joy and love Kam brought to our lives. She lived a full and happy life, spoiled rotten (as any good pup deserves!), and her memory will forever hold a paw print in our hearts. ❤️🐾

Originally intended for as an exclusive colorway for Wool & Folk, but after the utter insanity that ensued, we wanted to make it availble to everyone to purchase for a limited time. Get her while you can....dont wory no insane crowds this time.

To our newsletter subscribers, keep an eye on your inboxes for a newsletter from us. We have updates to share and information on and ask the vendors we hope you’ll support this weekend.

We want to address the unfortunate events that transpired at this year's Wool & Folk festival. As sponsors of the event, we are deeply disheartened and upset by the events that unfolded which did not align with the promises made to both vendors and customers alike.

We sponsored the Wool & Folk event with the genuine expectation that it would uphold the standards and quality reminiscent of the previous shows we had supported. Sponsoring events like this is a large investment, but one we think is important as we believe in supporting and creating community. Shows like this are meant to be places where people can come together, share their excitement about yarn, meet friends and make new connections. Unfortunately, we were left shocked and embarrassed. We found ourselves, along with fellow vendors, being treated poorly, with a complete lack of communication and being persistently ignored. We want to make it clear that being sponsors did not afford us any further insight into the “organization” or “planning” of the event. We were fortunate enough to have showed up on Wednesday and were placed in an indoor booth, albeit smaller than we had paid for and with the bathroom inside of it. We were horrified when we realized all the vendors were not inside as we had expected. The chaos of setup was like nothing we’d ever seen in all our years of vending.

And then we witnessed the experiences of those with accessibility needs, which added to our deep disappointment with the overall event. The complete lack of consideration for even basic accessibility was completely inexcusable. Hearing from so many people who couldn’t even get in is beyond upsetting. Accessibility MATTERS and we are so very sorry that this event was not. Misleading vendors and attendees is unacceptable. Full stop. We believe that it is imperative to create an environment that is safe and welcoming for all makers!

✨From the Vault!!! ✨ While we were creating & curating the color palette for our new, lovely Quartet Fi*****ng base…we kept coming back to some of our past colors that had been discontinued. Seeing those colors brought back to life in the pots and on the skeins made all us Magpies super nostalgic, and well, we just couldn’t help ourselves so…they are back in the line up! They are currently available in Swanky Sock, Swanky DK & the Quartet Family.
