Dear Maine Course Family,
It is with a heavy heart, that I inform you that our beloved friend, coworker and amazing leader, Kim Dennis, passed away Thursday. Kim fought valiantly during her battle with cancer over the last two years – continuing to work during her treatments for the disease since 2022, including major surgery.

A month ago, just before our Gala, Kim called me just to talk. She talked about how much she would miss seeing all of you at the Gala and the love that she had for all of you. We talked for close to an hour just about her life, her family and about her time with all of you, as part of the Maine Course Family. She sounded peaceful, accepting of her fate but acknowledging the love she was receiving from Mark, her husband, Josh and Joe, her sons and as well as her pride and joy, her two grandsons.

We stayed in touch over the last two years and even during her last month. There wasn’t one time that she didn’t try to impact my life. She talked about how fortunate she was to have so many friends within Maine Course. Kim has and will continue to be an example of someone to emulate. Who hasn’t felt her love in some way, whether through a sweet text, email, phone call and of course one of her HUGS. She will be one of the kindest people we have ever known.

There will be a private service for family in the next couple weeks. More details will follow as soon as we have them.

Let’s try to live as Kim has shown us. And from the thousands of guests, associates and Maine Course family. Thank you, Kim, for your kindness, love and friendship.

Maine Course brings portfolio to 25 hotels after the acquisition of the Four Points in Greensboro, NC.

GL Rogers acquires N.C. Four Points GL Rogers and Company has acquired the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Greensboro, N.C. Other terms were not disclosed. | Maine Course Hospitality Group will manage the property.

Breaking News!!!! Maine Course is proud to have been invited to manage the Four Points by Sheraton in Greensboro, NC. GL Rogers, a long time partner, will own the hotel and Maine Course Hospitality Group will operate it as of today.

This 112 room hotel will operate in the Marriott family of brands bringing us to 10 today.

Announcing the ground breaking of the 115 room TownePlace Suites in Williston, Vermont. Erik Hoekstra of Redstone and their investors chose to partner with Marriott, Maine Course Hospitality Group, Opechee Construction and Mascoma Bank. All were present.

Santa stopped by to officiate, but held up the event to visit with 30 children walking by. HO HO HO!!!

The anticipated opening date is Sping of 2025

One of our greatest traditions on Thanksgiving is to talk with each person, on each shift at all 24 hotels. I love it!
