Our students helped serve food for the attendees and were recognized at the event. We very much appreciate your recognition and support for our wonderful Adults with Disabilities program.

Thrilled to have been able to host OTAN’s Technology and Distance Learning Symposium 2024 at Fremont Adult and Continuing Education this past weekend. OTAN did a fantastic job with the organization and presentations. We are thankful for such wonderful professional development opportunities.

Congratulations to Fremont Adult and Continuing Education - FACE FUSD in Fremont, CA (FACE) for hosting their first BankWork$ graduation of the year!

Today, 16 individuals from FACE’s Fremont and Oakland locations successfully completed the program and participated in a hiring fair with partner financial institutions, exploring exciting employment opportunities. As these graduates embark on their professional journeys, we anticipate nothing but success, and look forward to witnessing the milestones they will achieve in their careers.

A warm welcome awaited the graduates, with a lineup of guest speakers that included Elba Mejia, a distinguished alumna from the 2022 BankWork$ program. Elba offered sincere words of encouragement, emphasizing that "it is never too late to start a new career," and reassuring the graduates that by completing the BankWork$ program, the doors to their next opportunity were already open. Elba currently holds the position of Senior Member Service Representative at Patelco Credit Union.
