We're in love with this all-around Love Story! Tasha has grown into the elegant name of "Lady"! And "Bear" continues to be the Purrfect name for Bear! While the indoor catio worked Great for their transition from foster home to Evergreen Home 🥰, they are now so comfortable with their larger spaced home that they don't use the catio space at all [so it will go back to their foster mom's use with other FHS kitties]. Awesome!

Today is the final day of PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week! This means that your adoptions go much further than usual since PetSmart Charities is doubling their donation to FHS for each finalized adoption! Their donations go a Long Way toward supporting the medical procedures we have been doing for injured, rescued animals (when needed)... it means So Much to FHS and to each animal in need!💗💗💗

Gucci & Hugo Boss are now named Charlie & Nick! Their adopters say, "The boys are doing great! They seem to love it here in our home, especially in all the small nooks and crannies that we didn’t know existed until we saw them come out.

"They love their new toys and the cat condo they inherited from our first kitty, Miss Kitty Fantastico. They are usually perched at the top of the condo, sleeping snuggled up next to each other, and at night, they curl up together between the pillows on our bed.

Having two cats is definitely an adjustment, but it is so nice to see them keeping each other company while my partner and I are at work. They are great at sharing toys, respectably giving each other turns playing with one together."

Dallas Animal Services, in partnership with an outside consultant, is undertaking the formulation of a multiyear project to address the concerns regarding loose dogs in the City of Dallas. As we progress to the next phase of our process, we are inviting the residents of the City of Dallas to fill out a brief survey. Frisco neighbors, have you seen this pup? Penney Layne has been missing in Frisco since 6/30 when she got spooked by a neighborhood fireworks show. Even though the family lives in Frisco, they back up to the train tracks that run all the way down to The Colony, West Plano, and over by Castle Hills, Lewisville, and Carrollton. Meet 18-month-old Cookie and 8-yr-old Pixie. These beautiful girls have been fostered by our amazing Marla and are making their FHS debut TODAY! It is with deep sadness we mourn the sudden passing of our Frisco Humane Society volunteer, foster & friend, Marla Fields. We're all in shock, and FHS will never be the same without her. Marla was involved with several animal rescue initiatives as well as community projects that revealed the depth of her love for other lives. She stepped up by fostering many FHS felines who were not perfect to everyone--the difficult-to-adopt little ones that always require a person whose compassion was larger than an ocean.💕 Pictured here is beautiful Marla with one of her kitties & dog, Dozer! Marla's family & FHS are urgently trying to fill Marla's shoes by finding fosters & permanent families for many felines who were under her patient & loving care.

The best way to honor Marla's memory for all that she did for the greater-Frisco-area animal rescue community is to care for the foster cats & her own cats that she loved more than life itself.

For foster families, FHS pays for vetting the cats that's needed while in foster care. Fosters simply need to be patient with the cats through the transition and love them as Marla had done.
