Patty's Cakes and Desserts

After being picked as the business to represent California in Google's Economic Impact Report, they flew Philip out to Washington D.C., for their Grow with Google Summit and to speak on behalf of small businesses on Capitol Hill.

Politics can be overwhelming and Philip is are far from a political, but he learned and participated in how the "sausage is made" firsthand.

If nothing is said, nothing will change. Lobby/speak for what you want or accept what is decided.

Philip met with our local House Representative and spoke with Senator Padilla's office about the needs of small businesses regarding the new privacy laws on the table. They listened and appreciated our perspectives.

He was able to meet other awesome business owners, met rad Googlers, toured the Capital, including the House of Representatives and Senate Floor, visited museums, and explored Memorials. It was awesome!
