The Gadsden Public Art Project has selected an artist to create a kinetic sculpture to be placed Downtown in the Spring of 2023! Thank you to our community partners and the Alabama State Council on the Arts for supporting this project and to the Gadsden Times for the story.

Art in the outdoors: Public arts projects planned to enhance city, county McDaniel's winning proposal will be a wind-powered kinetic work, fabricated in brushed aluminum.

Walnut Gallery outreach artist Parker Hunt will be bringing wheel throwing to Gadsden area schools in the next few weeks. The first visit is to Gadsden City High school. Thank you to the Alabama State Council on the Arts for supporting our community outreach education program.
