"Luna was owner surrendered yesterday 9-5-2024. Luna is very head shy when you approach her. She is tolerant of submissive dogs but is absolutely scared of playful, energetic dogs. When let outside, she pays the grounds looking for a way to escape so she is a Flight Risk. 50 lbs"

"Hello everyone, I'm looking to rehome one of my huskies, Luna. She's a 3 year old Siberian Husky, playful, loving, and caring dog. She loves going for walks and to the dog park. She does get epileptic seizures(hasn't had one for a full month now), she does take medication to limit her seizures. With my work schedule, she needs someone who can watch and care for her better than I can. If anyone knows someone or is interested, please message me."

An Eagle Scout Project but our funding is low and medical expenses like Cannoli's monthly pharmaceuticals cut into that! Gibbs is a typical free spirited husky that comes equipped with an endless supply of energy and enough fur to decorate both your clothes and furniture. Like all huskies he needs lots of exercise both mentally and physically. Time after time we have people adopt huskies because they’re so beautiful, definitely not the only reason to adopt one. If you have an active lifestyle and have done your research on the breed please consider young Gibbs.

The good news is: we've had some donations so Duke's vet visit was covered. He's totally healthy but a bit skinny.

A few days ago my troop and I sorted, inventoried, and packaged all the donations for Swampland Husky Rescue. I am looking forward to delivering all these boxes very soon. I am so grateful for everyone who, one way or another, has supported my project. THANK YOU.

Fun fact: We will never require a fenced yard for adoption! Please just have a plan to mentally and physically stimulate your rescue. Since Huskies are as smart as 5-year-old humans, they love a mental challenge as much as they do physical activity.

Here's an update on Uni after being adopted: She's loving her new family and has even put on some healthy weight! Look at that beautiful smile 🖤🐾
