They use your body weight to strengthen and tone the core-stabilizing abdominal muscles. Situps work the re**us abdominis, transverse abdominis, and obliques in addition to your hip flexors, chest, and neck. They promote good posture by working your lower back and gluteal muscles.

My clients are always asking me when will the workouts start to get easier. My reply to them is this...when is life going to get easier? The professional athletes that I train know and understand that their competition will never take it easy on them. I remember my first workout at NUMA SPEED like it was yesterday...I bet everyone does. It was on a Wednesday and after 60 minutes I had barely made it through half of the workout. I remember telling Coach Tim, there is no way I could ever finish this in just one hour. His response to me was "If you can finish our workouts on your first day then this isn't the place for you". He went on to explain to me that at NUMA SPEED there is room for growth and improvement. The workouts build every person that walks through the door, regardless of age or ability. No matter what your goals are, we are all human and our body responds to what we eat and the way we train on a daily basis. The programming at NUMA SPEED is designed and written to fit the needs of the human body. As exhausted as I was after my first workout, I found myself back the very next day. Although my mind was telling me no, my body wanted more. Now, I get further along in the workout after 60 minutes. I see the progression. I feel the endurance.

It’s often said to achieve a goal, do what others did to achieve it. At Numaspeed we do more; former Olympian Tim Montgomery has developed a program that improves an athletes body to be able to achieve their goals. There were 332 athletes that participated in the 2019 NFL combine 89 percent played multiple sports; track was the dominant one. The training program results speak for themselves.
