Happy Monday morning lovelies! Country Fried Steak Egg and Cheeses are flying out the windows this morning! Come get ya one!

We just love this dark roast blend from Hill and Brooks. It makes for a rich and smooth cup of coffee for your morning commute.

This particular roast is called Jubilee which, in this instance, is named after a unique occurrence of an abundance of sea life coming to the shores of Mobile Bay Alabama in the wee hours of the morning and is celebrated by Gulf Coast communities around this time of year.

We know you don’t come here for rare natural phenomenon content but this one is pretty cool and now we have a new bucket list action item. Sounds like the makings of a great fish fry or seafood boil! 🌈

Take a look at the phone number. They started switching over from the 2L2N format in the 60’s to what we see today. Our phone number is also still the same! 352-376-0924. Wonder if there’s a record for that? Super cool.

Glen McMillan opened the Sandwich Inn in 1963 right where it still stands today.

In the 80’s Glen sold the business and opened up Mac’s Burgers a few years later. You can see some of the same blueprint between the two places.

Over the years we have shifted the hours a bit and added breakfast in the early 1990's. But the concept has remained the same. Drive-In Window service for Gainesville!
