There will be workshops and demonstrations highlighting the intersection of local seasonal crops and Caribbean/Latin/African American food culture.

Elio Piedra, local celebrity DJ, will join us to keep things jumping!

Market day is tomorrow!! We are so excited to share some fun new vendors with you this week.

Come check them out and hear some live music by local band Patchwork. You may remember them from the corn hole tournament we did a few months ago!

We are having a Floribbean Festival next week! We are so excited to be working with Santa Fe, UFIFAS, Florida Heritage Foods, and some of your favorite local farms and restaurants.

Look forward to some Latin tunes courtesy Elio Piedra, children’s activities, and workshops and demonstrations about seasonal produce.

We can’t wait to experience this event that we have worked so hard on with you. Our Floribbean Festival is free and dog and kid friendly! Please share with anyone who loves local and seasonal food with a Caribbean twist!

Join us for some kid-friendly Halloween fun at the GNV Market on October 26th! We will have a Halloween tent made by the talented kids at La Selva Arts Studios with a little help from our neighbors The Gainesville Fear Garden. Plus, we are having a Pumpkin Seek-and-Find contest all throughout the market. Kids will need to locate the hidden item in each market booth and receive a sticker as proof from each vendor. The first 10 kids to find 20 items will get $10 in market cash to spend at any booth in the market!

Rules to the Pumpkin Seek-and-Find:
*Children under the age of 8 need to be accompanied by an adult to play this game.
*Get a head start by coming in costume - worth 2 stickers.
*Market Cash is good through the end of 2023.
*Check in at the bar tent to play and grab more info!
*The contest starts at 5:30PM
