๐๏ธ Lesley Holler, our VP of Operations, and Stewart Taylor, our Project Coordinator, had a great time attending Builders Association of North Central Florida's Silent Auction & Member Mixer this month! It was a wonderful evening of networking and supporting our local community.
๐ is proud to spotlight our work on the Marion County Fire Station #1!
We provided design and construction administration for a complete HVAC replacement in this 6,765 sq. ft. facility. Our upgrades included new DX air conditioning units, gas furnaces, and restroom exhaust systems to meet Code-minimum levels. We also installed a new outside air unit for building ventilation and dehumidification. Electrical power systems were updated to accommodate the new HVAC loads, and LED lighting was added throughout the renovated areas for enhanced efficiency.

CSEI delivered MEPF design and construction services for a prestigious 14,000 sq ft tenant infill project in Downtown Gainesville, commissioned by UF's IT Department. Embracing the architectural vision, we crafted a state-of-the-art office environment featuring streamlined HVAC controls for reliability and ease of maintenance, complemented by cutting-edge LED lighting equipped with daylight harvesting and digital controls.

We rebalanced supply diffusers and return grilles, enhanced restroom ventilation, and upgraded fixtures to touchless sensors. Our team also reconfigured piping in the breakroom, provided new power and data for the distribution area, and ensured generator backup for -80F freezers. Electrical upgrades included modifying general power and rewiring lighting to align with the new architectural layout.
We are excited to announce that Charles Datko has officially moved into our Tampa office where he will serve as Project Manager for all projects in the region.
Kevin Spellicy, CSEIโs Principal, shared, "CSEI has worked hard to build relationships in the greater Tampa area and is looking forward to expanding our reach and impact on projects in these new communities."

CSEI replaced existing fan coil units with new ones, installed new ductwork, and upgraded diffusers and grilles. The team extended domestic water, sanitary, and vent piping to new plumbing fixtures and provided necessary air, gas, and vacuum piping for the lab spaces. The existing electrical panels were reused, with new runs for lab workstations and equipment, while new LED lighting and lighting controls were integrated.

Our team created a refreshed and modern CFO Suite at UFโs Tigert Hall. We rearranged ductwork, updated lighting fixtures to new LEDs, and adjusted power and data locations to fit the new floor plan. Additionally, we upgraded the breakroom plumbing and relocated sprinkler heads to meet current codes and standards.

A huge thanks to Walker Architects, Inc. for allowing us to collaborate on this impactful project!
The project included a renovation and addition to the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida. Mechanically, this included a new 100% Outside Air unit, a new heat recovery system, central controller with IP accessibility, and mini split systems. Additionally, plumbing fixtures and LED lighting and controls were implemented.
From breaking ground to the completion of construction, CSEI took a hands-on approach to ensure this projectโs success so the Ronald McDonald House could continue to provide relief to families in need.
