We’re open today! We’re going to open up from 12-9 and will hand normal open studio hours from 12-4pm! We’re so thankful that the sun is out and our staff is safe. See you soon!

Due to Hurricane Milton we will be closed Wednesday, October 9th, and Thursday, October 10th. Please be safe, make good choices, and remember, it’s a great day to be a hurricane. We do hope to reopen Friday morning at 9am.

Join us this Saturday night for Date Night! It’s a Spooky Special Monster Mug session! We make a mug base and you carve and build your own Monster right on top!! (Or pumpkin, cute ghost, black cat, you know…) Register online to reserve your seat!!

So a little delayed. But THANK YOU GAINESVILLE! For coming out Friday night, supporting our business, our vendors, and celebrating our anniversary with us. It was quite a week last week and our staff and family are all so lucky to have very little damage and be able to be together in our community. We could not do this without our amazing students, members, and those of you that buy clay and fire with us. Whether you’ve bought pots from one of us, done an event like Sip n’ Spin at the studio, or have been taking classes with us for years- we say THANK YOU! Every dollar you spend with us goes right back into this community of makers that staff the studio. We feel so much pride in the fact that you choose to spend your time with us! First workshop of the fall alert! Get to know studio artist ! We met Sondra last March and thoroughly enjoyed her incredible demonstration! Sondra will be coming to Gainesville on November 2nd and 3rd to teach her incredible Double-walled Lanterns technique! Lunch will be provided both days to participants, as well as beverages and snacks throughout the day. Don’t miss this opportunity to have two incredible days of hands on learning, working with a small group of makers and Sondra! Our excellent team of instructors are ready to help you finally try the thing you’ve been wanting to try! You know you want to join our pottery classes! What are you waiting for? Our Anniversary Party is this month during Art Walk Gainesville!!! We’re celebrating a year in our new building and 8 years in business!! We can’t believe how fast this has flown by and have such an awesome party planned for you! We’ve got a DJ, food trucks, our staff will be set up to sell their beautiful pots we’ve been making in this gorgeous space, and tons of giveaways! We’re all set up this afternoon for the Q***r Makers Market and Drag Show!! Come out and get a beer, check out the market and say hi who’s holding down the Studio T/M table! Our fall kids classes begin September 17th, and run 6 weeks just like the adults. Teens are on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30pm-5:45pm, and Kids are on Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm-5:45pm. For the littles, we’ve got Family Stay n’ Clay hour every other Saturday (including one this Saturday!) We’ve got one month until the Fall class session starts here ! We’ve added a ton of new time and class options for you this fall. We’ve expanded our Hand Building classes, now there are 3 options, we’ve expanded our Wheel Throwing to offer Introduction to Wheel 1 or Wheel 2, and our Intermediate classes will be focused on cups on Tuesday nights, and bowls on Saturday afternoon!

We’re hoping you had an amazing first day back and are excited about your upcoming year!

Did you know?

Our members have all kinds of amazing perks to their membership, but one of our absolute favorites is the monthly Skill Share Workshop. This 2-hour workshop, just for our members, is a free workshop put on by our staff for them. We spend two hours on a demo and then they have the rest of the evening to practice using the materials provided! These are always on Sunday afternoons to give as many members the opportunity to participate as possible!

This past month’s workshop was presented by our Materials and Glaze specialist on using underglazes on bisqueware. Different applications were demonstrated and then members were given the opportunity to experiment with their bisqueware!

Our membership is currently full, but we are always accepting applications to our waitlist! Feel free to drop us an email to get on the list! We intend to open new spots in September!
