Los juegos de palabras son una estupenda manera de pasar el tiempo y desarrollar las habilidades de razonamiento y lectura en el carro. ¡Y no se requiere ningún material! Pídale a su hijo que busque un objeto que comience con cada letra del alfabeto, en orden. También pueden turnarse para decir una palabra que comience con el último sonido de la palabra anterior (gato-oreja-alfombra). O pueden comenzar con una palabra corta y turnarse para cambiar una letra de esa palabra y formar otra (mano-sano-gano-gato).

Word games are a great way to pass time and build children's thinking and reading skills in the car. And you don't need any supplies! Ask your child to spot objects that begin with each letter of the alphabet, in order. Or, take turns naming a word that begins with the last sound of the previous word (cat-toy-oyster). You can also start with a short word and take turns changing one letter to make a new word (cat-bat-bad-bed).

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the talented author Nick Mask to our school. He brought along a brand new cooperative game featuring none other than Waffles the Adventure Cat for our students to test out! 🐾

Our students were thrilled to embark on this new adventure and work together in this fun and engaging game. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such a special guest share his latest creation with us.

HCSO ADVANCE Camp is an awesome experience for Hall County 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝟵-𝟭𝟮. The five-day camp includes field trips, delicious meals, camp t-shirts and lots of fun! The camp is 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟴𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀. Parents must register their children on May 18 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. outside of Academy Sports on Dawsonville Highway. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱!
