ANNOUNCEMENT! As everyone knows, High Dive was abruptly forced to close in May of this year when the building owner sold our property to corporate developers. While we are all still grieving the loss of our beloved historic music venue, there is tons of hope for the future of the Gainesville music scene.
Pat Lavery, the founder, owner, and operator of High Dive from 2011 - 2024, is continuing the spirit and the SHOWS you loved from High Dive with Glory Days Presents!, a promotions company he started over 20 years ago in his Gainesville garage with just a laptop, a flip phone, and a fax machine picked off the side of the road. Glory Days booked the thousands of amazing music and comedy shows that took place at High Dive, which will now be hosted at fine local venues including The Wooly, Loosey's, Vivid Music Hall, and more!
We're excited to announce that today all High Dive social media accounts are rebranding as Glory Days Presents - Gainesville, FL! We will announce, promote and hold TICKET GIVEAWAYS for all local shows brought to Gainesville by Glory Days on these accounts! So make sure to keep following us right here to stay up to date!

Our Story
HIGH DIVE is a live music and event venue unlike any other in Gainesville, providing a professional concert experience to artists and music fans that might typically be expected only in a bigger city. High Dive has the largest and highest quality sound system of any live music venue in Gainesville. We have the biggest dedicated parking lot of any venue downtown, and parking is always FREE (first come first serve). We work really hard at and put alot of pride in what we do.
THE BEER GARDEN (our outside bar) is always NO COVER for 21+ for those that wish to hang out and have a drink but don't want to see the show ! The Deck features 42" flat screen TVs and stereo sound. Often showing FLORIDA GATOR and TAMPA BAY RAYS games and more!
VARIOUS FOOD TRUCKS typically sets up in front of our entrance during big shows, serving a wide variety of dishes at affordable prices. Feel free to bring your food inside and have a drink !
HIGH DIVE is the home of the ORIGINAL GAINESVILLE FOOD TRUCK RALLY, a regular FREE event that features the best in local mobile vendors, live music and DJ's!
ADVANCE TICKETS can be purchased at HIGHDIVEGAINESVILLE.COM, Hear Again Music (downtown next to Starbucks), or here at the venue with no service fees (Cash only) anytime we are open. Just ask at the bar or the door.
WILL CALL TICKETS purchased online are NOT HARD TICKETS, but are actually your name on a list AT THE DOOR when it opens, and not anytime before. Buying a ticket in advance does NOT mean you will not stand in line, ir just means you will get in even if the show is sold out!
AGE POLICY – GAINESVILLE CITY LAW stipulates that NO ONE UNDER 18 is allowed inside UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN at all times while in the building ! Additionally, DRIVERS LICENSE or PASSPORT or BIRTH CERTIFICATE (accompanied by photo ID) is REQUIRED TO ENTER! It’s the law, and we must enforce it!
UNDERAGE DRINKING IS ILLEGAL AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Anyone caught drinking under the age of 21 or facilitating under age drinking will be asked to leave. We don’t enjoy policing this law, so please don’t make us do it !
$3 SURCHARGE on every ticket will be collected at the door for ANYONE UNDER the age of 21, ALWAYS!
