A new system has been developed to enhance the realism of mass casualty (MASCAL) training exercises.
​
This structured casualty card system, piloted during USUHS’s Operation Bushmaster, significantly improved patient presentation realism and was well-received by both faculty and role-players.

Key Findings:

πŸ”Ή 96% of clinical faculty agreed the new system improved realism.

What is the Y-Balance Test?

The Y-Balance Test (YBT) is a simple yet effective tool used to assess balance and neuromuscular control. It involves a participant standing on one leg while reaching in three directions: anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral.
