The HERO Campaign was established by the family of Navy Ensign John Elliott of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., who was killed in a July 2000 collision with a drunken driver two months after graduating from the United States Naval Academy.

In the 24 years since his passing, the Elliott family has worked to ensure no family has to endure a loss like their own. Through billboards and police cars, HERO students and partnerships with bars and restaurants, the HERO Campaign works to promote the important role of the designated driver, the true life of the party.

As we begin to welcome another new summer, let’s make it a safe one as the Elliots share their story in the June issue of EHTLiving - Best Version Media.
