It's Ospreys Give season!
Once again, the SCCE has been invited to participate to raise money to fund Student Fellows in the community. These are the Stockton students who go into Pleasantville and Atlantic City to manage our programs and work directly with the participants.
This year we have an outstanding group of students and this campaign goes to fund their stipends and allows us to offer this experience to even more.

Atlantic City Council Recognizes Homework Program - News | Stockton University SCCE project completes fifth year in city housing projects
The Stockton Center for Community Engagement will be holding our Third Annual “Pop Up Pants Shop” events this summer where will we distribute navy and khaki school uniform pants to youth residents of Stanley Holmes Village and Buzby Homes Village in Atlantic City. The children “shop” for pants, their parents preregister them for our Homework Completion Programs and chat with our Atlantic City Police Department and Atlantic City Housing Authority partners. This event has been very successful in attracting new families into our Homework Completion Programs at these locations.
As you are all starting to clean out closets for the end of the school year, we will be collecting gently used khaki and/or navy blue pants (their school uniform pants) to be distributed at the August events. If you bring boys’ or girls’ pants (sized from 5T to 16H) to campus on any Monday through Friday this summer, we will sort and store them until the big events. The SCCE office is located in B-108 but we can also pick up your donation from your office.
Some people have sent us monetary donations which we have used to buy uniform pants from Old Navy and Target when they go on sale at the end of the summer and we appreciate those donations as well.
We are only collecting khaki and/or navy blue pants since these are what the youth wear to school.
More information about our Homework Completion Programs can be found at our website: www.stockton.edu/scce
