“Sazaé” Have you seen this shellfish? (Maybe on the tail of some cartoon character.) Have you tasted it before?? The toasty aroma of the soy sauce gives this a delicate smoky note. After you eat it, you can add hot water or sake for an extra kick, to finish off the sazaé dashi. Truly mouthwatering. It does take a little time to cook to perfection, so make sure to order it first!

Thank you to all who’s supported us for many years, but unfortunately we have closed the To-Go location. We have many memories there, including the fact that this was the location Chef Brian trained for 10 years under his boss and master, Takashi Kido.
We will miss the location, but we were blessed with an amazing, new and nostalgic location on western and 182nd.
Hope to see you all at Kanpachi Sushi and Sake for more delicious sushi and excellent customer service.
