The day will include watching the movie, discussion, and activities to compliment and drive home that YOU can be unique, valuable, and powerful all at the same time!

We are set up at Pride In Dallas and eager to see what the festivities hold!

RESOURCE SPOTLIGHT | Room for Change helps individuals, couples, and families with various backgrounds and goals. Although their primary focus is traditional talk therapy and couples counseling, they also offer EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), sensory meditation, and art and music therapy elements. Their counselors are conveniently located in person in Garland and Oak Lawn to meet the needs of the immediate community and surrounding areas. They are LBGTQ+ affirming.

Our week has been filled with advocacy and support efforts in the LGBTQ+ community!
1. A huge thank you to the panelists and all who participated in the first Parenting LGBTQ+ Youth discussion on Wednesday at Sue Ellen’s! Sharing resources, knowledge, and support is so powerful. We are so grateful to our amazing partners Dallas Hope Charities and Rainbow Roundup who continue to do such needed and meaningful work.
2. We had the honor of hosting a roundtable discussion today concerning LGBTQ+ affirming care- to be able to continue providing the care that the community needs. Thank you to all the amazing people that joined the discussion and shared their efforts, work, and ideas.

What a wonderful way to celebrate and advocate during Pride Month.

To every father, and every person who has filled the role of “father”, you are so valued- we hope you feel loved today.
To those grieving a father or father-figure, we hope you take extra care of yourself today and that you are able to reminisce about the joyful memories you shared together.

We had a packed house at the Ribbon cutting amd Grand Opening of our Firewheel location. Thanks to all who supported, promoted and attended.

Garland PD, City Councilman Jeff Bass, Mayor Pro Tem Deborah Morris, Garland Chamber CEO Pau Mayer, Garland Chamber President Karina Olivares and so many others made a special event even more magical.

So thankful to be in a city that truly supports Mental Health and the growth of our industry.

You are seen and loved just as you are. We recognize that the world feels unsafe at times for many people in the LGBTQIA+ community, and the fight for a kinder and more accepting world continues. Affirming care saves lives and we are proud to provide that care at Room for Change!

Super grateful to be able to give back to the Garland Police department with a little breakfast. These men and women proudly support Room For Change and our efforts in the community. They truly care about the residents of Garland.
