This group might include those interested in becoming Climbing Merit Badge Counselors, Camp Staff and Scouters. Scouters who work with troops and teach climbing are required to be "Qualified Instructors" prior to teaching any climbing / rappelling activities.

Great Incentive to get families to register online this fall during Recruitment. Make sure your Unit Pin is up to date and has important information like WHEN & WHERE your meetings are, Contact Name, Phone, & Email. The UNIT PIN might be your FIRST Impression on a NEW family so make sure it is a good one.
With the rain and flooding in our area today, the Broad River District, Piedmont Council BSA is postponing their meeting at Trinity Baptist Church tonight. We plan to reschedule this meeting on Thursday, August 15th, 2024, at 6 PM (District Committee) / 7 PM (Roundtable). Thank You! Broad River District, Piedmont Council BSA
Thanks to 2024 Council POPCORN Chair-Bonnie Phifer, the Piedmont Council is happy to let our units know that we have secured STOREFRONT SALES for ALL 14 Lowe's Home Improvement stores across the Piedmont Council. Additional details and how to book storefronts will be provided at our September 11th training. The council would like to ask all volunteers to NOT reach out to any of the local Lowe's stores as this could jeopardized what we have already secured. This is GREAT news for those units who want to take advantage of the benefits of storefront sales.
Anyone who went to the Shooting Sports event on Saturday missing this water bottle? It's here at the Council office!
