Established in 1976 by the faith community in the Gastonia area, CAM provides emergency assistance with food, necessary utilities, and rent/mortgage. To receive assistance, applicants must apply in person at the office, Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm. Information required to apply includes picture identification, social security cards for everyone in the home, proof of address, verification of income, and expense information/receipts.
