1️⃣ Advocate for Accessible Trails: Reach out to local parks and nature reserves to ensure they have accessible trails and facilities for all birders. Find out what to look for in our 'Access Considerations' document on our website and share the knowledge!
2️⃣ Create a Welcoming Birding Environment: Host bird outings that are inclusive of different mobility needs, sensory sensitivities, and communication preferences. We have a tool to help you get started called 'Steps to Implement Accessible and Inclusive Birding' on our website.
3️⃣ Submit a Site Review to the Birdability Map: Share your experiences at birding locations to help others find accessible spots and encourage improvements.
4️⃣ Support and Volunteer: Get involved with organizations working to make the outdoors inclusive of ALL people, like Birdability, Field Inclusive, CorpsTHAT, Black AF in STEM, and more!
