Inherited is a collection of handpicked vintage pieces for the wardrobe and home from the 1890s to the 1990s.
Have you ever wanted to shop my pieces more than just twice a year at ? Now you can! I just set up at with men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and accessories, plus some homewares. I’m next to the best booth neighbors, my loves . Stop by soon and see us!
So a fun fact about me is that I hoard an incredible amount of vintage and antique kid clothing for someone without children. Luckily (for my overstuffed closets and for people who dress their kids in vintage), I am going to be opening a booth at an antique mall soon! You’ll be able to shop all sorts of vintage for all people, all sizes. I’m very excited. Here’s just a small sampling of some of my kid stuff.
The average teacher spends $915 a year of their own money on supplies for their classroom. The average teacher in North Carolina makes $56,135. Teachers are beyond a class act.
“It’s just a t-shirt. How cool could it make you feel?”
One of the best things about vintage is the vintage community and all of the knowledge to be found within it! When researching this fab royal blue gym uniform before listing, I went to ’s endlessly informative blog. In one post, she shared the 1968 Moore Gymwear catalog, and I was able to find this exact gym suit style—the “Matadora.” Check my stories for a link to the post so you can see more!
New collection! This set is such a fave. 1930s-40s Campbell & Lowe satin jacket and skirt. 26” waist. I believe this is from Big Lake High School in Big Lake, MN. But what could this uniform be? I’ve compared majorette, cheerleader, baseball, basketball, and field hockey uniforms and can’t tell! If you have an idea, let me know!
⚠️ WARNING: vulnerable post ahead. I redesigned my website a few weeks ago and launched a new collection to go with it. And I didn’t make a single sale. I did what I always do. I second-guessed myself! “This is what you get for neglecting your shop/your Instagram.” “Maybe you’re out of touch with what’s cool.” “What do you know about ANYTHING anyway?” I was so resigned, I’ve just been moving my new things over to Etsy to get some more eyes on it. But, today, I finally made my first website sale. This was my reminder for myself and anyone who is feeling a sprinkle of self-doubt: You are not for everyone. If you love something, do it and keep doing it. The people who are meant to find you—they will. Whether this reaches five people or fifty, thank you for following along on my messy journey of finding myself through piles of old clothes. I love you.
The recipe for the perfect summer sweater: 100% cotton, subtle cable knit details, gently puffed sleeves, pearl accents, and a sweet bow. Size small.
I went to an estate sale at this incredible 1952 MCM home today. The wood beams, the built-ins, the brightly colored bathroom fixtures, a makeup/beauty room with PINK marble counters, the slate, the windows… on a 13-acre property. Unfortunately, the entire property was purchased by a developer to build a retirement community. They apparently intend to reuse the house as a community center, but it’s hard to imagine. It’s so heartbreaking to watch homes like these be destroyed or reddened with all originality removed. 💔 (I’ll share original images of the house in stories)
If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to lately, it’s basically just finding lots of incredible vintage and just hoarding it. Vintage sellers, HOW do you get over the hump of listing stuff?! I love finding it, hate everything else.
1940s floral-print wrap dressing gown—currently measures at a medium, but move the snaps out or in to get a larger or smaller fit. Original belt is missing, but at your waist accent of choice! (I think it looks pretty rad styled with a worn leather belt.)
Look at the ruching! And the little pointed collar! 1930s lace and mesh zip-front top. Shoulders make this an XS/S.
It’s been a while since I shared something new… how about this 1918 embroidered dropped waist dress?! (XS-M).
Always tried to wear denim jackets, but the traditional trucker cut never worked for me. Until now — this 1970s Ralph Lauren denim chore coat is perfectly worn in, and the tan cord accents are the icing on the whole thing. (NFS)
It’s happening! And yes, it’s pants! Vintage Charlotte Spring Market all day today.
I know older vintage isn’t sometimes the most popular at pop-up events, but I can’t resist bringing this late 1920s-early 1930s Betty Baxley Frocks cotton dress to Spring Market tomorrow. It’s lightweight with such a fun geometric print— and that collar and bow!
This frothy, poufy ‘80s Miss O by Oscar de la Renta silk chiffon dress deserves to be spun around a dance floor. Coming first to Spring Market on Saturday.
I realized a few weeks ago that I was running low on almost all of my branded ephemera— price tags, notecards and my little calling cards. So I did what anyone would do on a wild Friday night… had a few martinis and impulsively redesigned my branding, much to the consternation of my creative director husband. What do y’all think?! (Inspect them in person Spring Market!)
It feels like spring, and that makes me want to embark on something new. I’ve been collecting vintage and antique homeware pieces that I think are pretty special, and I’ll start to share them soon. I hope you’ll follow along.
Girlhood. Coming to Spring Market on Saturday.
These ‘90s Hermès trousers are such a gorgeous transition piece. Fine woven wool, but not too heavy. 27” waist. If you’re in the Charlotte area, check them out in person in SIX DAYS at Spring Market!
1970s Gucci linen gouchos | 27” waist. Gauchos can be a polarizing piece, but I would love to see these styled with a high leather boot and a silk blouse as we transition to fall!

Let’s keep the jumpsuit love going. This late-1960s to early-1970s Bob Cunningham jumpsuit has incredible construction. A fitted micro gingham bodice with open scoop back, larger gingham print ultra wide legs that appear like a maxi dress until you get movin. 26” waist.

Our Story
Now located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tryon, North Carolina, Inherited is a shop offering one-of-a-kind vintage and antique pieces for the wardrobe and home. Inherited is stocked with items for the woman who enjoys enriching her modern world with romantic elements from the past.
I’m Sabrina. Since childhood, I’ve fantasized about rummaging through dusty attics, discovering garments worn by women of previous generations. But as the grandchild of immigrants who came to America with only with the essentials, my dreams are lived out in my shop. Inherited offers the kinds of pieces that I would love to inherit: frilly party dresses in velvet and silk and sturdy wools and cottons designed to last. I hope while browsing Inherited, you’ll find pieces to wear now and pass down to future generations.
