David Crabtree, the North Carolina Assemblies of God District Superintendent, is our guest speaker tomorrow morning at 10:30am. David is a great leader and powerful communicator of the Gospel.

We can't wait to worship together. Don't miss it!

Day 2 is done, but there are 3 more days of Jesus and joy ahead! It’s not too late to let your kid join the fun!

It’s Summer and we are continuing the Right Now Media Series The Book of Haggai: “What’s Next?”!!!

We are all in a season of transition right now, but it is a preparation season in order to more. To ask God for guidance with where we are right now and to ask what He is calling us to do for Him together. Pray for one another and stay faithful in meeting others to be reminded of His faithfulness in your season.

It was a big day at First Assembly yesterday! We baptized 5 awesome people, honored Mike Greene for 50+ years of service, and celebrated 10 years of ministry as a drop-off center for Operation Christmas Child

First Family, due to the storms and the aftermath of downed trees and hazardous road conditions, we have decided to cancel service tonight for the safety of everyone. Please stay safe and spend sometime in God's Word this evening.

We are looking for special people willing to jump in to Summer with a purpose! Summer often provides our biggest opportunity for NextGen ministry with the challenge of leaders traveling and maximizing their family time.

Could you give 3 months to help advance the gospel in Gaston County? Three monthly (that's only 3 days!), bimonthly, and weekly opportunities.

What: Church directory photo session sign-ups.

When: Beginning this Sunday (April 28th), before and after the morning service.

Where: Church foyer.

Who: Church members AND any individual or families that consider Gastonia First Assembly as their home church by regular attendance, regular tithes and offerings, participation in church functions and through service to the church.

Why: The goal is to make the new directory a true representation of the full body of believers who call Gastonia First Assembly their home church, so everyone's participation is important.

Cost: There will be no charge for the photo session or for a copy of the finished directory

Currently there are four dates scheduled for photo sessions:

May 5th, June 2nd, June 9th, June 16th...from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on each date (10 minute time slots per individual/family). Time slots for dates/times will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis until all time slots are filled. Additional photo session dates for July and August will be announced at a later date, but please do not procrastinate and miss out on this opportunity to be included in the new directory.. All photo sessions will take place in the FIrst@Home Center in the church foyer.

*Every effort will be made to reach out to those physically unable to attend an on-site photo session so that everyone can be included.

This Sunday we will be joining with The Lighthouse Child Advocacy Center and our greater faith community to support Child Abuse Prevention Month!

We encourage you to wear blue this Sunday. Our Alive Kids will be planting blue pinwheels in our church lawn to help raise awareness.

We are having trouble with our streaming software this morning, 4/21/2024. Hopefully, we will be up and running shortly!
