Frida is a one-of-a-kind 3-year-old brown tabby with a big personality! She’s known for her adorable habit of sticking her tongue out when she meows - it's her signature move. 😝 With a little RFF (Resting "Feline" Face), Frida may seem like a diva, but she’s got a heart of gold when it comes to people.

While she came from a home with other cats, we've found that this independent little lady isn’t actually the biggest fan of cats - she would much rather be your one and only. Frida is sweet, loving, and enjoys being the center of attention in her home.

Sushi is a beautiful 3-year-old grey tabby with a heart as soft as her fur. She may be a little shy when you first meet, but don’t let that fool you! Once Sushi warms up to you, she becomes a loyal and affectionate companion. She loves being around her favorite humans and enjoys cuddling, playing with feather toys, and taking little naps in the sun.

Sushi is looking for a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and come out of her shell. If you’re ready for a sweet kitty who can brighten your days, Sushi is waiting for you!

Black cats - the abyss that gazes right back at ya! A black cat is also an abyss that wakes you up at 4am, demanding food - one that loves you and will show it by knocking over that full glass of water on the counter when you stop paying attention! 😹

Silliness aside, we've got quite a lovely group of black cats (and one tuxedo!) available for adoption here at KCAC. They're all quite handsome gentlemen, with charming personalities to match their dapper attire - these boys are always ready for a black-tie event!

Meet Gengar, the calico kitty with a heart of gold! The split on her ear might imply that she had something of a rough life before making her way to KCAC, but it hasn't dampened her spirits 👻 one bit! Rather, we think her ear only adds to Gengar's unique kind of charm!

This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and will eagerly curl up in your lap for snuggles. 🥰 She's also quite the talker — Gengar is always ready share her thoughts and opinions with everyone she meets. She usually has a LOT to say, so be prepared to hear it all! 😅

From the moment Penny stepped onto the scene here at KCAC, we knew we were in for something special. 🤩 This sweet 7 year-old pittie baby is so charming - she's perfect in every way!

Penny is well behaved and housetrained, as she had a wonderful life with her old owner. But, she's treated this surrender-hiccup in her life like a small vacation. She's gotten to meet plenty of new friends (both human and 4-legged!), explored the prairie of Geneva, and has been showered with treats and toys!

Even though she's had plenty of fun with us, this old lady is ready for her new furever home. Penny does well with dogs and cats - she even knows a few tricks! 🐾

This year has been pretty crazy with cats here at KCAC, so we've got cats GALORE and all of these sweet babies are looking for their furever homes!
Some are new faces, while other kitties have been here for a few months now without any interest! While the allure of a kitten IS hard to pass up (we totally get it), older cats are just as cute and FULL of personality. Keep your pet up-to-date with our easy, low-cost clinic! Stop by our facility any time between 10am and 1pm with your dog or cat to get a rabies vaccine and Kane County rabies tag (if applicable).

🚫We are not able to accommodate animals with vaccine reactions, please make an appointment with your regular veterinarian if your animal needs special care.🚫

$30 for neutered/spayed pets (or animals under 1 year old)
