The Goodwater School Board and Dr. Bruce Tabor, Goodwater School Superintendent/CEO, are pleased to announce that Mrs. Beverly Al-Tabatabaie has been named Principal of Goodwater Public Montessori School. Dr. Tabor will remain as
Goodwater School Superintendent/CEO and will be working closely with Ms. Beverly on the continuation in the delivery of child centered Montessori values and goals. The announcement and introductions were made at the Goodwater School Board meeting
on August 1st, 2024. Dr. Allen Brown, board president, said, “I know I speak for all of us by saying how excited the board is to have someone of Beverly’s talent and experience joining our administrative staff. We are expecting great things from her.”

Mrs. Beverly Al-Tabatabaie comes to Goodwater Montessori with 19 years of experience in education, having served in various roles within public ISD,s and Charter Schools, including Math teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Mrs. Al-Tabatabaie
earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Upon acceptance of his new position Mrs. Al-Tabatabaie said, “My family and I are excited, blessed, and honored to be able to serve Goodwater School and the Goodwater educational community as principal. I, along with the faculty and staff, pledge to build upon the foundations of excellence laid before us to provide the best comprehensive Montessori school experience.”

Dr. Bruce Tabor, Superintendent/CEO, commented, “We are extremely proud to announce Mrs. Beverly Al-Tabatabaie as the Principal of Goodwater Montessori School.
Beverly’s interest in Goodwater is sincere. Her interests and focus on developing the whole child are commendable. I know she will work closely with the entire team and the Goodwater community at large to bring out the best in our delivery of Montessori values and instruction. Join us for an exciting end-of-year celebration on Thursday, May 23rd, hosted by the Goodwater PTO! We're wrapping up the school year with a day filled with fun activities, including a bounce house, inflatable slide, yard games, and a complimentary concession stand. The highlight of the day? A FOAM PARTY! Please remember to send your kids dressed in clothes that can easily dry and bring a towel.

🐬 The 2024-2025 Academic Calendar was approved at the board meeting last night and is now available on the website! 🐬

At the Board meeting last night, Goodwater Montessori announced a new focus on Primary and Elementary grades suspending 6, 7, and 8th grades for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year. Students and families affected will receive assistance as they transition to new schools.

Dr. Bruce Tabor, the Superintendent, explained the decision will allow educators to focus on the needs of students at the Primary and Elementary levels, increase academic stability, solidify Montessori teaching and learning, and enhance professional development.

Dr. Tabor indicated that Goodwater students and families in affected areas will receive assistance throughout the transition. For help or questions, families may contact Alicia Olivieri ([email protected])
