Applications are now open for the GISD Ambassadors program. The purpose of the GISD Ambassador Program purpose is to inform, engage, and collaborate with a group of Georgetown ISD community members to provide valuable district-wide information and foster a well-informed school community.
Time commitment: monthly for 7 months.

Georgetown ISD is accepting nominations through September 11th for parents, business representatives, & community members to serve a two-year term on our District Performance Committee (DPC). The purpose of the DPC is to provide guidance on important areas such as the academic calendar, district improvement initiatives, and other areas in support of the GISD Vision, Mission, and Goals.

Reminder that GISD will operate on a new bell schedule this year. This new bell schedule was adopted at a May board meeting:

⏰ High School: 8:40 am - 4:00 pm
⏰ Middle School: 9:00 am - 4:20 pm
⏰ Elementary: 7:40 am - 3:00 pm
