Going into week #3 of trial next Monday. It is awful to see prosecutors hide exculpatory evidence from a jury like Bell County First Assistant ADA Stephanie Newell has done in this case. They do not want the jury to see the truth. The Bell County DA's Office does not understand the difficult job of nor do they support the fine men and women of law enforcement in Bell County. We had to spend three years and thousands of dollars to find and expose the truth in this case which the jury has now heard. For my law enforcement friends in Bell County: assume you are all potential targets of misguided political prosecution by the Bell County DA.

So glad to see this. The Office of Police Oversight has long been abusing its limited power with the blessing (and even encouragement of) City leadership. They are well known to look for "problems" when none exist - akin to a modern day witch hunt, all fully endorsed by City management. If residents want to know why crime is up and officer morale is in the gutter, look no further than the Office of Police Oversight as a major contributing factor.
