Autumn sunrises bring beautiful colors to the olive grove 🍂. What could your imagination do here?
The colors this morning ❤️ and an unexpected soft rain. What a lovely gift from the heavens
It’s olive season! The trees are full of olives changing colors. As olives ripen, they change from green to yellow-green, rose, red-brown, and finally to dark red and purplish black. They can be harvested at all of these stages, but their ideal picking time is when 1/3 of the olives are purple and 2/3 are still green. If anyone is interested in picking raw olives, reach out to me. Olives do need to be brined or cured before eating.
What an adorable birthday shot!!!
Gila the farm dog wishes everyone a Happy First Saturday of October!!!! She’s as excited,as are most of our clients, that maybe, just maybe, the weather will start to cool off this month! This will mean long walks for Gila and much more comfortable conditions for our photographers and their families. Cheers to October 🍂
Recording birds this morning in the olive grove. Super excited for a cardinal and a special wren. Mother Nature at her best ❤️🐦⬛
Autumn sunrises
My beautiful little olive grove made it into the top 3 loved spaces near Phoenix ❤️❤️❤️. My heart is grateful for all the photographers and families that have enjoyed the farm. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🥰

What cute shots down in the back 40 of the farm! A mechanic in the making. Great photo shoot from .
Dust storm on its way
Mushrooms 🍄, found at the farm 3 patches of mushrooms. I’ve not seen mushrooms grow in such large patches. And …
If there’s one thing to learn from Alice in Wonderland, it’s don’t eat the mushrooms!
Beautiful and 🔥
Stormy weather coming and fingers crossed that it really arrives. The farm has missed out on almost all the rain this summer. We’re a little thirsty here. ☂️ 🙏🏻 ☂️
Sometimes this Arizona farm girl just has to escape the heat
Downtown Gilbert, circa 1935. About 10 years after our little farm ( then a large farm) was started by Dr. AJ Chandler. Gosh, how things have changed!
Gawky and lanky teenage owl hanging out on the front porch of the owl house this morning. Seeing the owls is always exciting at the farm. We love our owls.
Beautiful shot
We are honored to be named as one of Peerspace’s most spectacular spaces near Phoenix!!! Thank you
Tuesday morning in the olive grove and yes, as Kenny says “the grass is green and the good Lord is smiling “
It’s owl time at the farm! I’ve been blessed to have a family of barn owls living here for close to 20 years. They have their babies every May and my nights get really noisy 🦉. Barn owls do not “hoot”. They scream 😱. They are curious. They are protective. And they are magnificent.
Arbor Day, a day to plant trees. A day that the farm is grateful for the trees. A day that I am grateful to be the Kahu of these 100+ trees and this farm.
