I became very sick in the spring of 2010 when I was 27 and began a journey of natural healing that would change my life forever. My problems all started when I began to have recurring shingles outbreaks. I paid money out of pocket to be seen by doctors since I didn’t have insurance at the time and all they did was prescribe antiviral medications with terrible side effects that I had read about so

I stopped taking them. I realized that shingles was a virus that began to cause problems in the elderly and immune-compromised. The next doctor visit I asked about this and the doctor said it was nothing to worry about and to keep taking the antiviral medications. I wasn’t getting to the source of the problem and the shingles kept coming back every couple of months. I tried a few topical treatments I found online that helped somewhat and tried to learn about being healthier. Then I began to lose weight and lose my appetite. After a couple of months, I lost more weight and started having large pimples and dark sores showing up all over my back, my energy levels were extremely low, and when I went to the bathroom I had hard dark stools. After a few more months I was down from 160lbs to 110lbs and I couldn’t hold any food down. I began to see soft bruised spots show up on my shin bone. I saw a doctor and told them about all my symptoms and after testing my blood and other levels they sent me to an oncologist because I had a low white blood cell count. At this point being sent to an oncologist and having all the symptoms that I had within the last 6 months, I already suspected that I had cancer based on how fast my health was declining. By the age of 24, I had witnessed two of my grandparents enter and lose medical battles with cancer. Each was given a grim and expensive outlook before eventually being sent home with pain meds to die. Watching them go through that whole process was devastating to me and my family. Finding out that I was sick was difficult to accept on its own, never mind that I didn't have any medical insurance. In order to offset my worries and a subsequent lack of funds and medical insurance, I was forced to find alternative ways to get better and to heal myself. I had my mind set on surviving my situation not just extending my life a few more years, I had a son and I wanted more than to just survive, I wanted to thrive! After 1½ years and thousands of hours of research and dedication, I was able to regain my health and heal myself naturally through proper cleansing and detoxification using herbs, long periods of juice fasting, and eating raw fruits and vegetables. I learned how to alkalize and properly detoxify and cleanse the body and how to maintain the body’s nutritional needs while juice fasting for longer periods. After healing myself I wanted to do something with all this knowledge I had obtained so I began helping close friends and family find alternative ways to heal themselves. Studying bleak survival rates for cancer patients who undergo harsh medical treatments reminded me of how sick I was at one point and needed help. When I finally did get the right information I was able to heal myself with miraculous results.
