We are an ecommerce business offering affordable, framed, fine art photography.
> Our Artistic Philosophy
Everyday life can be fast paced, challenging and at times stressful. On those days, we welcome opportunities to take comfort in simple pleasures which otherwise go unrealized. Through the medium of photography, our artwork captures and delivers unique moments of beauty which we believe contribute to a sense of calm. So whether its a single flower in your favorite color,
After each photo shoot, one of our first tasks is to review all images and rate them on a 5 star scale. Images which fail to meet our minimum standards are rated 1 or 2 stars which designates them for deletion.
Images rated 3 stars generally require a lot of editing in order to realize their full potential and are often candidates for re-evaluation with many receiving a lower star rating in the future.
And then there are 4 and 5 star rated images which are definite keepers and the ones we're excited about bringing through our creative and technical workflows to produce a finished artwork with a sense of perfect style.
We're currently planning our next release and will definitely include a few of our Hawaiian favorites. So, if you're looking for tropical coast scenes, flowers or sunsets, be sure to visit artxus.com and check out our Maui gallery when it comes online late this year or early 2024.
Nothing better to kick off the start of a new year than a 10 day trip to Maui. Besides indulging one of our Faves by attending the Sentry Tournament of Champions golf event, we'll also be squeezing in a few photo shoots to capture island life.
Give us a few weeks after returning to assess whether any of our Maui images are candidates for optimization and inclusion on our website portfolio. If any winners emerge, we'll be sure to let you know in one of our upcoming posts.
Last year, our goals on Facebook were rather modest and included creating a business page, adding basic content and exploring the platform's potential to engage with our audience.
Although more time passed than intended since our last post, the arrival of a new year provides opportunity and incentive to pursue more ambitious goals for our Facebook presence in 2023.
Throughout the year ahead, our Facebook efforts will be focused on brand promotion, engaging with our audience and deepening relationships with current/new customers. We hope you'll find the posts going forward to be more frequent, informative and conversational.
In the meantime, let us hear from you and most of all, Enjoy the Art!
Last year at this time ... we we're considering which social media platforms would best fit our fine art photography business. We ultimately narrowed the options to: Facebook and Pinterest. Recognizing this would be a learning process requiring a sustained effort and would likely result in a few missteps on our part, we decided to limit our exposure and begin the social media journey on Pinterest, a primarily visual platform.
Throughout the past year, we've experimented by running brand awareness and promotional campaigns which enabled us to better understand the capabilities and limitations of Pinterest. Moving forward, we'll continue to grow our Pinterest following so we may engage an audience with a visual preference.
To better engage with a much larger audience with a preference for both visual and textual content, we've taken the next step by creating and publishing our Facebook business page using the username Artxus2021. Our first choice was to go with Artxus, our company nickname, but since it was already claimed we simply appended it with the year we opened for business and launched our website artxus.com.
Just as we're committed to continuous improvement on our website, we're now committed to doing the same for our presence on Facebook and Pinterest. We hope you'll find our visual and textual content to be of interest as we continue our social media journey.
