As some of you may know, this week, up in Oshkosh, WI, the annual week long event know as the EAA fly in occurs. People come from all over the world for this event. I have been seeing pictures posted of the various aircraft flying and on display there this week, This image, obviously, caught my eye. I have been given permission by the Photographer, James Church, to post it here. I don't know if this actual aircraft ever served at NAS Glenview or if its painted to reflect a post-WWII Marine Reserve Squadron F4U. Enjoy.
We will only be open until 3:00 today. Sorry for any inconvenience.
