Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what weโ€™re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by whatโ€™s going on around us.
While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, itโ€™s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Mental wellness is a lifelong process and a proactive strategy to strengthen our mental, emotional, social, and psychological resources. On one level, mental wellness is about prevention; coping with lifeโ€™s adversity; and being resilient when we face stress, worry, loneliness, anger, and sadness.
On another level, mental wellness moves us toward a deeper, richer, and more meaningful human experience, which is often described as flourishing.

Plastic bottles are the exact definition of a no-win situation. It is not only unhealthy for you, but itโ€™s also awful for the ecosystem. Plastic bottles were initially problematic because they contained bisphenol-A (BPA), an endocrine-disrupting chemical.
Bisphenol-A free plastic bottles were produced to counter the first problem; however, these new bottles also contain other toxins which are as bad as bisphenol-A. Although there are instances where you canโ€™t avoid using plastic containers, try to avoid using them when you can, always opt for stainless steel and glass containers for carrying your filtered water.

Melatonin is a natural hormone that controls the sleep-wake cycle, and this hormone is regulated by light exposure. When it is dark, the human brain secretes more melatonin and it secretes less when thereโ€™s light, the former makes you feel sleepy while the latter makes you more alert.
Expose yourself to more light during the daytime, spend time outside and allow natural light to come into your workspace, and when itโ€™s nighttime keep the room dark, turn off your television, and no using your smartphone on bed, this will help improve sleep quality.
