Happy Easter! Christ is Risen, Alleluia, Alleluia! Join us at Mass today at 8:30am and 10:30am.
Jesus is risen from the dead, never to die again!
Easter reveals to us that what we fear most—
death—has been definitively conquered by God.
On Good Friday, it looked like God had lost and sin had won. But, in fact, it was just the opposite. Love is more powerful than sin. Sin does not have the final word, love does. (Read more from Fr Ben in this weeks bulletin at: www.goodshepherdgv.org/publications

Divine Mercy Sunday is in 9 days, which means today is the day to start the Divine Mercy Novena. As Jesus told St. Faustina, “During these nine days I want you to lead souls to the Fount of My Mercy, in order that they may draw from it strength, refreshment and all the graces they need in the trials of their lives, especially at the hour of death. Each day you will lead a different group of souls and immerse them in the sea of My Mercy. Each day You will beseech the Father through My Bitter Passion for graces for these souls.”

Have you participated in the seven churches visitation on Holy Thursday before?
St. Philip Neri is credited with the origin of the custom, which dates back to the 16th century. During the pilgrimage, which is also referred to as the Seven Station Churches Visitation, he and his followers visited the four major basilicas of Rome, plus the three significant minor basilicas.

"Tabernacle means ‘dwelling place.’ Our bodies become tabernacles, or dwelling places, for Christ each and every time we receive Him in the Eucharist.
“The tabernacle in church is inanimate, made of wood and metal, but the human tabernacle is alive and breathing, made of flesh and blood… With Christ dwelling within us, the love of Christ should radiate outward from ourselves to others in our kindness, service and joy.”
