Lemon oil is one of the most commonly recommended essential oils for morning sickness. Overall, researchers conclude that the scent of lemon can effectively decrease symptoms of nausea.

Bergamot is the oil of the Bergamot orange tree and will have many of the same effects as Lemon oil. Bergamot is also known for its calming effects on digestion which help calm the stomach.
