Santa Claus is coming to town. He will be riding through Grafton Village on the fire truck. We will post the parade route the day of. Depending on the parked cars on the cul-de-sacs we may or may not be able to access them. Definitely will try our best to visit each street.

1 in every 4 home Christmas tree fires is caused by electrical problems. As you decorate for the holidays, don't forget to inspect all lights for broken bulbs or frayed wiring.
Deer activity increases during the hunting seasons. Stay alert, especially at dawn and dusk, buckle up, and maintain the speed limit. When encountering deer on the road, do not swerve, brake firmly, stay in your lane, and bring your vehicle to a controlled stop.
Please keep Concord-Green Fire Dept in prayers. Loss of their Fire Chief Stegbauer and Captain Skaggs.

We now have a total of 12 Firefighters with the level II training. This is career level of training.

The Wellington Firefighters Association invites you to this one-of-a-kind evening with many Safety Services Departments from around the area participating!
Event Cost: We encourage all participants to bring donations of fresh canned goods, with any and all varieties being accepted with no maximum! This year is a special year as we celebrate our FIFTEENTH year of being able to give back to the local community via our annual Chili Cook-Off.
Guests will be asked to donate $1 per each sample (scoop) of chili, with all proceeds going to Well-Help. There will be multiple varieties of chili available for all to enjoy, so please be sure to bring an empty stomach and an open mind to taste all!
Throughout the evening beverages will be available for purchase, as well as plenty of door prizes, raffles, and other fantastic give-a-ways!
Stop by the gazebo during trick or treating tonight we will have someone there passing out treats.
Looks like the rain will be moving out before lineup of the Halloween parade. See everyone at 12:00 for lineup. We have donuts,cider, candy. See you then.

Are you ready for the power outage??? We are ready. We have Pizza, coffee, brownies, cookies, and pretzels to share with everyone. Stop by and visit or stay the night. We have cots to sleep on.
Tonights upcoming of Ohio Edison power outage starting on Oct. 27 at 10 PM we will be staffing the 1013 Chestnut St , Fire Station from 9 PM. We will have cots available and the generator will be running to supply electricity to the station and any electrical items that you may need to charge. Stop by for some coffee & snacks. There is also cots available if you need to stay overnight.

Trick or Treat is Oct 31st 6:00-7:30. Stop by the station for candy.
FYI we will still do the Parade if its raining. Its happened before and it won’t stop us. Besides, we have lots of donuts, candy and cider to give away. Halloween parade is Oct 29. Lineup 12:00 with step-off at 1:00. Donuts and Cider afterwards. Costume judging entry is done prior to parade. Winners will be announced after parade.
HALLOWEEN PARADE
Sunday October 29, 2023 1:00PM
line up begins at Noon.
Due to the Halloween Parade the following streets will be posted NO PARKING from the hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Main St. (downtown between rail road tracks and Elm St.) Will be closed for parade route.
Chestnut St. (line up area)
Center St. (detour route)
Also,
Mechanic Street will be closed to traffic from Oak St - Center St.
Chestnut St. will be Closed for Line up
Rail Road St. will be closed between Oak St. and Main St.
Grafton Police Officers will be at all intersections of the Parade Route and detours to direct traffic.
