The Grafton Police Department received multiple complaints today, 11/21/23, that an unidentified white male with Blonde/light brown hair, had knocked on several residents doors. When the door was answered the male pretended to be the son or brother of a neighbor, and the neighbor needed help. The male would provided enough information about a neighbor (likely found by public records) to attempt to convince the victims that he was related to one of their neighbors, and then request money to help the neighbor get home from Pennsylvania.
The only description of the involved vehicle was a dark colored, mid size, SUV. No other identifying information was provided. These incidents were not confined to any certain neighborhoods.
If you had a similar incident or information about these incidents please contact the Grafton Police Dept. at 440-926-2662.
