"General Conference has always been my favorite times of the year. Being able to hear from living prophets has been such a blessing to my life. This recent General Conference has touched my life. I try to go into each Conference with a prayer in my heart. I want to know things Heavenly Father would have me learn and try to seek the Holy Ghost's influence in what I hear.
“One of the things that has been on my mind a lot recently is finding peace amongst the chaos of life. There were several talks about peace and turning to the Lord. It was a gentle reminder to me that I need to lean in on the Savior, Jesus Christ, more often. I tend to feel like I need to do it all on my own. In the end I feel exhausted and defeated. Since Conference I have been trying to notice when I am leaning on my own strength or the strength of the Lord. It has been a blessing in my life to lean more fully on the Savior instead of myself.
“I know my Savior, Jesus Christ lives and loves me. I know that He is the source of all peace, healing, light, life, and joy. My struggles might not change, but my strength to get through them does when He is by my side. I know that we are lead by living prophets today. I know the scriptures are the word of God and along with prayer we can find answers to our most deepest questions. I love the Lord. He is my rock, my Redeemer, my best friend. I am so thankful to be a child of God."

Today marks the 200th Anniversary of the Angel Moroni's first visit to the Prophet Joseph Smith. Moroni was a messenger from God sent to teach Joseph Smith the work that God would have him do.
How has your life changed from reading the Book of Mormon?
I have reflected many times on the miracle of the coming forth of The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Today we commemorate the 200th anniversary of the angel Moroni’s first visit to the Prophet Joseph Smith. What a remarkable visitation this was! Moroni was a messenger sent from God to teach Joseph Smith about the work that God had for him to do. Moroni became one of Joseph’s major tutors.
On his first visit, Moroni told Joseph Smith that “there was a book deposited, written upon gold plates, giving an account of the former inhabitants of this continent. … the fulness of the everlasting gospel was contained in it, as delivered by the Savior to the ancient inhabitants.”
Joseph Smith translated this ancient record “by the gift and power of God.” This record is known today as the Book of Mormon.
I cherish the Book of Mormon and the opportunity to study its teachings. It is a thrill to invite visiting dignitaries to learn of its profound teachings of Jesus Christ.
The true value of the Book of Mormon can be summed up in the words of a man I taught many years ago in Accra, Ghana.
This man was a serious student of the Bible and one who loved the Lord. I explained to him that after the Savior’s Crucifixion and Resurrection He came to the people of ancient America to whom He taught His gospel.
Together, he and I read the Savior’s sermon to the people of the Americas. I then presented a copy of the Book of Mormon to him, to which he said:
“You could have given me diamonds or rubies, but nothing is more precious to me than this additional knowledge about the Lord Jesus Christ.”
On this 200-year anniversary, I ask each of us to consider: What is this book worth to you? If you were offered diamonds and rubies or the Book of Mormon, which would you choose?
I testify that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God. It contains the answers to life’s most compelling questions. Its truths have the power to inspire, comfort, restore, strengthen, console, and cheer our souls.
It is my hope that each of us will see this book, today and always, as it really is: more precious than all the riches in the world.

Are you looking for PEACE? ✌️
Our friend Jared has found a series of challenges and trials in his life. He decided to look OUTWARD and serve others. Another word for this, is Ministering. It means to uplift, serve, love, and strives to be a friend to others.
Watch his video to see his challenges weren't removed or changed, but he was still able to find JOY! 😊
How can you minister or serve today?
Asking for God's help doesn't make up weak. It makes it stronger. We are letting him into our lives and showing him that we trust him.
Our Heavenly Father is the most powerful being to ever exist! Wouldn't we want his power into our lives?!

This is my testimony of Jesus Christ.
I love Jesus because He changed my life. He makes me feel happy. Sometimes I get upset about something and I pray and ask Jesus and read my Book of Mormon. He answers my prayers and gives me power. I'm ready for do everything He asks, and I don't get upset.
I love Alma 41:14, It makes me feel humble and helps me live a good life and love everyone.
I leave this my testimony with you in Jesus name. Amen 🙏

What is one piece of advice you could give someone wanting to become closer to Christ?
A youth asked me WHY should they keep turning to God if they aren’t getting what they want?
But if we only view Him as a Butler vending machine, than we are dismissing 98% of everything else He is there for.
I made a Why God list. But first, let me start by saying I have anchored my entire soul & intimate relationship with Him completely on the truth & promise that our God is not one of avoidance & prevention BUT HE IS one of GREATER MAGNIFICATIONS! Both our ships filled & sinking kind of magnifications. I have seen over & over & over the unexpected & unwanted IS GOD intervening. It IS Him participating in your personal life!
The privilege to have Him love us so much to cut in, & adjust, to re-shift, to redirect, to bring us to BETTER than we had in mind.
John10:10, LIFE MORE ABUNDANT.
(& a side note that my *favorite* things have ALL come from something I was initially resisting & I just had to see it through & see Him through. Or getting exactly what I wanted & it was just packaged completely different).
And yet still,
Life with Him is life unlocking,
renewal & revival.
mending & magnifying.
Filling & fulfilling
Our shrinking comes His swelling.
Unwavering love worth dying for
Profound dedication to never leave
the chance & the privilege to try again & start again
Things can be different &
WE can be different.
Companionship when are our wells
Time with us when we are buried under the crowd
Inexplainable healing when we are debilitated
Safety from the elements
Peace in total chaos
Advocate constantly fighting your cause
Dropped stones, shame-free
Complete & exact understanding
Never lost, never forgotten
Always heard, always called
Purpose & passion
ENDLESS Forgiveness no matter what
Lifted weight, lifted up, lifted out, seasons of soaring
Confusion turned clarity.
Dissipating loneliness
Light in darkness
Extended arm never shortened, Scarred hands
Oh my gosh, the list is never ending, what can you add?!!👇🏼

We are told that comparison is a thief of joy. A wise man taught that there are many more things that can remove joy from our lives. They are called the 4 C's:
Comparing
Complaining
Criticizing
Condemning
