June is National Homeownership Month and there are so many monumental moments for families as they move into homeownership. The life-changing benefits that are provided are extremely impactful such as: higher educational achievement for children, greater health outcomes for everyone, and the opportunity to build wealth as a pathway to prosperity. It also includes a broader benefit to the local community such as: greater civic participation, decreased crime, increased taxes, community pride, employee retention and increased property values.
Closing out our Habitat partner families, is Sandy. Read on to see what Sandy has to say about her road to homeownership.
