The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a tradition dating back to the sixteenth century. Celebrated each year at Catholic Colleges and Universities around the world, it is an opportunity for the entire community to pray for the guidance and wisdom of God’s Spirit as we undertake the work of our mission during this new Academic Year. This year’s Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated on Friday August 23, 2024 at 12:15PM in Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel.

In the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary the Church celebrates her belief that Mary was preserved from sin from the moment of her conception. This belief is an act of hope in God’s redeeming love, which promises freedom from sin for all persons. In Mary, we see the favor that God offers to all persons through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. There are two opportunities to attend Mass, in
Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, to celebrate this Holy Day of Obligation: 12:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. O Christ, be praised in Mary, Queen of Peace
