Quality counseling for the uninsured: Our Masters level internship program provides counseling at low rates for all in need. We required advanced training for all in our program to be able to give our clients the support they need.
New Intern Michelle Andrews: I am a graduate student at Cornerstone University completing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As an intern, I am focused on quality of care for all clients no matter their age, gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability status. I enjoy working together with clients to help them reach their goals and learn adaptive behaviors and coping skills through coming alongside individuals as the experts in their own story and experiences. As an empathetic and active listener with 14+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults through teaching and advising roles, I look forward to building a safe and trusting counseling relationship.

New Intern Katelyn Mark: I am a student at Western Michigan University pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. In the role of a therapist, I value compassion and competence. I believe in providing clients with unconditional positive regard while also being an agent of accountability. The individuality of each client requires a treatment plan that aligns with their strengths, goals, and values. I hope to encourage the client’s personal growth and self-actualization. Therapy is hard work, but together, we can do hard things.
