Found this earrings tucked away and decided to wear them today. 🌈It’s been a really busy and challenging season of life the last few months. I know I’ve been MIA. I’ve had to prioritize my health and family. I miss making earrings and being excited to wear them. One day at a time right now.

Thrilled to see featured in ! He painted an amazing mural in our space and I’m honored to have a photo of it featured. Nick is super talented and a kind, genuine person.

In other news: I’m been pretty quiet on here. I’ve taken a position teaching full-time elementsry art again. I’ve had a big range of emotions about this. Last fall I took a step back from teaching due to burnout. It felt like I had outgrown it, which was difficult and scary. This past year I was able to work full-time for TCF, and taught for an amazing arts organization called Artists a Creating Together. While I felt very fortunate to have time for the business, it put tremendous pressure on me to grow the business to be able to fully support me and my family financially. I decided it was time to return to the classroom. I was beginning to miss it and the structure that comes from a regular schedule working outside the home. And so far this year it’s been great and fun and challenging and exhausting, but ultimately feels right. I’m working on trusting in the timing of my life.

I’ve had to take some steps back from TCF lately, but finally getting caught up on some overdue orders this weekend. I’m still figuring out what the business looks like right now, and we’re in the running to win $20k later this month through Start Garden’s Top 100. Doing the best I can to keep things moving forward at a pace that supports my mental, physical and emotional health. 💗

NEW! EARLY FALL COLLECTION 🍂🍁In between wholesale orders I’ve workrong on some new designs. This is only a small portion of what I have sketched up for fall. I’ll be adding them to the website and wholesale catalog this week.

May you choose wholeness today instead of perfection. If that means sitting in my pajamas at 1pm designing my fall collection - because creativity needs room to breathe, so be it. 🙌🏼

Feeling this hard today. So impressed with women in my life overcoming difficult things. Women who step up to the plate to make a difference. Women with an amazing capacity to care for people and creatures they they just met, and some they have never met. Ones who make crazy awesome stuff that makes me jealous. ☺️ It’s easy to think everyone else has it together. At my worst I sometimes think I don’t measure up. At my best, I’m inspired to keep striving. 💗A reminder that a woman (even one who is doing what you do) is your ALLY, not your competition.
