This past weekend, our team took space to reflect on Juneteenth and even got to celebrate downtown at the Justice 4 All Juneteenth Jam—owned and hosted by our Director of Biz Dev, Julius!

We celebrated our May babies with Happy Hour at The Green Well! It's always a good time cheersing with our TIS team 🥂

TIS took a day out of the office to participate in a DiSC session where we had a deeper look into everyone's work styles and how we mesh as a team! It was a great exercise in collaboration and team building. 👏

Last Friday, TIS headed down to the Grand Rapids Art Museum to support GRNoir Wine & Jazz as they co-hosted the very first GRAM Goes Late—a collaborative arts experience that took place during Art in Bloom.

Nadia and Shatawn gathered poets, DJs and jazz musicians to perform in the GRAM's auditorium and they popped open bottles of their GRNoir Collection wines that were poured for guests all night.

We had a great time at the event and are proud to have been a collaborator on this project!

🥇 Julius is celebrating one year as our Director of Business Development

Earlier this week our Director of Business Development, Julius, headed over to Frederick Meijer Gardens to attend Experience Grand Rapids' annual meeting featuring the tourism forum. Their President & CEO, Doug Small, and his team chatted about this year's plan to make Kent County the tourism and convention destination.

We learned some valuable insights about the tourism market and we're excited to use that knowledge to strengthen our clients' marketing efforts!

From the woman herself, KT: “Today, I'm fortunate to celebrate all my colleagues, friends, family members and fellow businesswomen who are making impactful things happen—both big and small—in our community and across the globe. I'm very proud of this power team of talented, beautiful, strong women who I get the privilege to work with each day at TIS.”

The full gang got together yesterday for a lunch & learn from our Digital Strategist and Content Strategist! 📈 It was a great presentation that defined each of their roles and how they work together.

Khoi headed down to Atlanta last week for an extended birthday celebration, and while he was there he met up with our Graphic Designer, Jodeci! The two met for the first time face-to-face and she showed him around the city—from driving past the Atlanta skyline at Jackson St. Bridge to visiting shops and food halls like Ponce City Market and Colony Square. 🏙

Last week, the team met up at The Green Well for a happy hour to celebrate Claire and Khoi's b-days! Always a good time with this bunch 🥂
